2nd Annual Wicked & Wild “Winter Wonderland” event.

20 Hour Event that challenges participants through unpredictable weather, terrain, and the thrill of winter in the mountains above Boulder, Colorado.

Two Divisions
I. Running
II. Rucking (M 35# / W 25#) vest or pack

Each Division has a Solo or Pairs category

Compete for:
1st Place, Course Records, course achievements, against the course, against yourself, and for the challenge/fun.

Course Records
Solo Running:
Distance: 46 miles (Brista Mayfield)
Elevation: 2804m (Brista Mayfield)

It’s quite simple; log as many miles & elevation possible for 20 hours along randomized routes through 4 miles of possible 4x4 and single track trail. Routes will be anywhere from .5 to 2.5 miles long with 70’ to 500’ elev. gain. Each route will start and finish at HQ.

Temps typically range from the low 20s to 40 deg. Snowfall should be expected and can be anywhere from 2 inches to 2 feet with winds & high winds always possible. Per usual, the weather will keep things unexpected & exciting.

Amenities & Support
/ Canvas wall tents with wood burning stoves, cots, electricity will be available for overnight sleeping and participant shelter starting Firday evening through Sunday afternoon.
/ Participants are encouraged to bring a support crew & spectators.
/ Meals provided will be a pre-event BBQ, Continental Breakfast, Mid-Event Soup / Hot Wets, and a post-event BBQ.
/ A warming shelter with coffee, tea, and hot water will be available.
